It is possible to carry out an antigenic test for the detection of COVID-19 at the Central Pharmacy of Charleville-Mézières, with or without an appointment. Online appointment booking.
The tests carried out can be used in particular in the context of the health pass, for contact-tracing, for the diagnosis of infection, etc. The period of validity of the antigen test as part of obtaining the health pass is 24 hours.
The nasopharyngeal sample is taken by previously trained pharmacy staff. The test is read by a Doctor of Pharmacy. The result is known in 10 to 15 minutes depending on the test used by the pharmacy. In the event of a positive test, an RT-PCR screening test will be systematically offered to you (analysis carried out in partnership with the Bio Ard'Aisne laboratory).
As soon as the test result is read, a report is generated by the pharmacy and the result is sent to SI-DEP. You will then receive a QR code allowing you to enter your result in the AntiCovid application (available on Android or Apple smartphones).
The tests used at the Central Pharmacy are among the most efficient existing and the performances have been validated in particular by the AP-HP: https://www.aphp.fr/contenu/evaluation-de-la-performance-diagnostique-de-neuf-tests-rapides-antigeniques-covid-19
